Breathing practice 👃🏻
To help with the following: stress reduction, anxiety reduction, asthma symptom reduction, as a mindfulness exercise, to improve digestion, to improve clarity and focus and to improve sleep.
Important:
Do not practice this technique if you are pregnant.
If you are having involuntary diaphragm contractions during this exercise, the air hunger has gone too far. Similarly, if you are feeling stressed during the exercise, the air hunger has gone too far. If this is the case, take a rest with normal breathing for thirsty seconds or so before starting again. If you have a history of panic disorder or anxiety, work on this slowly over time to avoid triggering a stress response.
